Now Anyone Can
Follow The Game...
...And See If They Are Feeling Lucky!
The model CTD-711 Craps Table Display provides
craps players with a detailed view of the dice roll history,
including: the last 28 numbers rolled, the current point, prior
points, change in shooter, and winning rolls!
As has long been demonstrated at roulette tables,
displaying chronological play history actually attracts more players
to the table, which is a good thing for table revenue. Players get
excited when certain patterns develop and believe that it will help
them place a better bet for the next roll. Potential new players
standing in the aisle cannot see what is happening on a busy table,
but with this display they will be able follow and learn how the
game is played.
After the shooter has rolled and the stickman has
brought the dice back to the table center, he presses two keys to
indicate each of the rolled dice: a task that can be done in about a
second without looking at the keypad itself. The keypad is easily
disconnected and removed from the table between shifts. The display
housing holds a Linux based single board PC that interprets the
keypad signals and automatically generates the graphics according to
the standard craps table rules of play. Secondary functions, such as
Clear Screen, Set New Shooter, and Undo Last are controlled from the
keypad by holding a particular button for over 2 seconds.
