Overview
The Registration & Redemption Station gives you a way to register customer information so you can send out marketing specials with Mail Manager and a an automated way for your customer to redeem their Loyalty Points for Bonus Bucks and receive Birthday Bucks for a free wash on their birthday. Click these links for more information about the Turbo Accessories Computer and the Wickets Registration-Redemption Station hardware. Click the  Price List  button on the How To Order page for pricing information.

This page describes the Registration & Redemption Station functions in detail. This page and the information found in the Turbo Accessories application itself serve as the complete manual for this product. You will find a lot of descriptive labels and text on the various screens that serve as hints and reminders, and you will also find a few  ?  buttons sprinkled around the screens that contain detailed descriptions about the data needed or the choices you are trying to make.

Please note that although both the Registration and Redemption functions share the same station hardware by design, you may optionally elect to order it as only a Registration Station or only a Redemption Station. When ordered as the combination Registration-Redemption Station, the customer flips a toggle switch on the face of the enclosure to determine how he will use the station at that time.

Setup
The Registration - Redemption Setup screen shown to the right is accessed by a clicking the  Reg.-Red. Setup  button on the bottom of the setup screen for Turbo Accessories. Each of the sections below will reference this screen relative to the topic of the section. It sets the conversion rate from Loyalty Points to Bonus Bucks, sets how many Birthday Bucks are to be awarded on (or near) the customer's birthday, what the rules are for when Birthday Bucks will be given, and what optional messages will be scrolled to tell the customer all the reasons for registration.

Registration
When the toggle switch is in the Registration position (or if  it is only a Registration Station) then the Station's LED display will scroll the messages shown in the table below when it is otherwise idle. The messages in yellow are the reasons why a customer might want to register and are set on the Registration / Redemption Setup Screen shown above. Optional messages 21, 2b, and 2c are enabled by checking their corresponding checkboxes, and message 2c may be any custom message you enter into the text box.

If the Wicket is not yet registered, then message 1a is scrolled and 1b shows the UserID fixed on the display for 5 seconds. If the customer is registered, then messages 2a and 2b (below) are scrolled twice and contain the customer's first name, last initial, an last 4 digits of his phone number.

A locking registration box adjacent to the Registration Station holds the registration cards and has a slot for depositing cards that have been filled out. At a later time the owner collects the filled out registration cards using the Registration Management Controller Module to enter the data. If the Registration Management Controller Module is not running on the same computer as the field installed Registration-Redemption Station, then you will need to transfer the completed registration files back to the fields site using a Flash Drive with the Turbo Accessories Data Transfer utility.

Wicket Registration Records may be viewed by clicking the  Registration Records button on the main Turbo Accessories screen. If the field computer controlling the Registration Station does not additionally have the Registration Management Controller Module enabled (and it shouldn't if there is a separate central office computer performing that function) then you will only be able to review Wicket Registration Records, but not change or add to them. The screen opens, as shown to the right displaying the entire list of registered Wickets. You can click the radio buttons to sort by last name, registration date, change date, or the 5-digit UserID (Wicket ID) number.

After finding the registration record you are looking for, double-click it (or click the left tab entitled Wicket History) to open the Wicket History detail screen as shown to the right. The data on the left is the registration data, which may only be altered by the Registration Management Controller Module. The data on the right  is a  summary of activity the last read balances and historical summary of activity.

To import fresh registration data from your central office computer, click the right hand tab entitled Import/Export Data and follow the instructions found there.

Redemption - Balance Display
When the toggle switch is in the Redemption position (or if  it is only a Redemption) then the Station's LED display will scroll the messages shown in the table below when it is otherwise idle. The values in message sequence 2 stating how many Loyalty Points are redeemed per received Bonus Buck are determined by your setting of this value on the Registration / Redemption Setup screen described earlier.

When the customer follows through by tapping his Wicket a second time on the Wicket Reader, the Loyalty Points will be converted to Bonus Bucks according to value you set on the Registration / Redemption Setup screen, which in this example is 10 Loyalty Points per Bonus Buck. The Wicket Reader is instructed to re-write the Wicket with new values changing 47 Loyalty Points to 0 Loyalty Points and changing $0.00 Bonus Bucks to $4.70 Bonus Bucks. When the re-write of the Wicket is confirmed, the LED display then scrolls the messages sequence in the table below. In this example, message 1a would be displayed first, but if there were no Loyalty Points to redeem, then message 1b would be displayed first... followed by the remaining messages in either case.

The complete history of customer redemptions can be viewed by clicking the Redemption History  button from the Turbo Accessories main screen. As can readily be seen to the right, it details the time, date, Wicket, customer name, how many Loyalty Points were taken, the Bonus Bucks given, and the ending Bonus Balance.

It also shows any Birthday Bucks given to customers... which show a "--" in the Pts. column as no Loyalty Points were involved.
