Registration
When the
toggle switch is in the Registration position
(or if it is only a Registration Station) then the Station's LED
display will scroll the messages shown in the table below when it is
otherwise idle. The messages in yellow are the reasons why a
customer might want to register and are set on the Registration /
Redemption Setup Screen shown above. Optional
messages 21, 2b, and 2c are enabled by checking their corresponding
checkboxes, and message 2c may be any custom message you enter into
the text box.

When a customer taps his Wicket on the Wicket Reader located on the lower right
corner of the Station's LED display enclosure, the unique
UserID is read and transmitted to
the Turbo Accessories Computer where it is compared with the list of
already registered Wickets. If the Wicket is not yet registered,
then message 1a is scrolled and 1b shows the UserID fixed on the
display for 5 seconds. If the customer is registered, then messages
2a and 2b (below) are scrolled twice and contain the customer's
first name, last initial, an last 4 digits of his phone number.

A
locking registration box adjacent to the Registration Station holds
the registration cards and has a slot for depositing cards that have
been filled out. At a later time the owner collects the filled out
registration cards using the
Registration Management Controller Module to enter the data. If
the Registration Management Controller Module is not running on the
same computer as the field installed Registration-Redemption
Station, then you will need to transfer the completed registration
files back to the fields site using a Flash Drive with the Turbo
Accessories Data Transfer utility.

Wicket Registration Records may be
viewed by clicking the
Registration
Records button on the main Turbo Accessories screen. If the field computer
controlling the Registration
Station does not additionally have the Registration Management Controller
Module enabled (and it shouldn't if there is a separate central
office computer performing that function) then you will only be able
to review Wicket Registration Records, but not change or add to
them. The screen opens, as shown to the right displaying the entire
list of registered Wickets. You can click the radio buttons to sort
by last name, registration date, change date, or the 5-digit UserID
(Wicket ID) number.
After
finding the registration record you are looking for, double-click it
(or click the left tab entitled Wicket History) to open the Wicket
History detail screen as shown to the right. The data on the left is
the registration data, which may only be altered by the Registration
Management Controller Module. The data on the right is a
summary of activity the last read balances and historical summary of
activity.
To import fresh
registration data from your central office computer, click the right
hand tab entitled Import/Export Data and follow the instructions
found there.
